The Calendar in Mitt UiB
Your own calendar entries
In Mitt UiB, you can create entries in your personal calendar, in group calendars and in the view selector. You can click the + sign in the grey tool bar menu above the calendar to add your own event in your personal calendar.
Please note: You cannot create repeating events in the calendar.
Important: Before saving the entry and submitting it, please select a calendar for yourself or for a specific group in the editing menu.
You can only choose from the calendars that have been activated/marked in the right-margin menu. Please note: Please make sure to check your personal calendar in the sidebar.
Entries in group calendars are common property, and can be edited by all users with access to the group.
Entries in the personal calendar are private, but please be careful not to select a group as the receiver.
Appointment group is a tool used by educators to create appointment slots for the students to sign up for meetings, tutorials, presentations and so on.
Customize your calendar - the Mitt UiB calendar can only display up to 10 courses each day
In the right-margin sidebar (at the bottom of the page on small screens), there is a list showing your courses and groups. Select/Unselect calendars by clicking the grey/coloured dots to the left of the course/group title. The calendar in Mitt UiB can only show events for 10 courses at the same time. If you happen to be a member of more than 10 courses in Mitt UiB, you will then have to make a selection of 10 courses or less to display in your calendar.
The calendar list to the right is connected to your course list. This means that your star-marked courses (your favourites) will be displayed at the top. You can choose your favourite courses in the course list: You choose Courses in the global menu, and then All courses. When you have picked your favourite courses, these are the ones that will be displayed on the Dashboard.
