Hands on: Google Cardboard

Google Cardboard is a low-price VR-headset where you slot a smartphone into a cardboard viewer. The smartphone has two images which when seen together through the lens in the viewer appear three dimensional. 

We have some Google Cardboard Links to an external site. kits, and will build these in class, and try out some apps for viewing 360˚ images. 

Your assignment after class will be to take 360˙ images using Google Street View's camera app.
