Some lecture rooms are equipped for recording and streaming through Panopto. See here for a full overview of equipped rooms. To order recordings and streaming in Mitt UiB, go to the tab for "Planlegg opptak / videonotat" in the left menu:

You will now get a list of classes planned in the course, and you can order recordings and streaming. To book a recording, select the "Endre" button next to the teaching session.

Here, you can choose to stream the session as well as record it. You can also split the recording into separate recordings, to avoid pauses. Note that you cannot retrieve anything from the breaks if you wish to afterwards.

When the recording is finished, it will appear in the subject's Panopto Folder. There it can be treated like any Panopto video, including editing. It takes some time before the recording is visible in the folder, because Panopto has to process the recording.
